Generators are one of the most neglected language features in python education. Usually, you get told that they're used as "a cool way" of feeding for loops. However, that was in 2002 and this particular feature makes about 5% of what they're capable of now. This overview paints the full picture of one of the most interesting language features in python and its capabilities.
